Electional astrology, aka time-maxxing

In theory, everything can have a birth chart: a person, a country, a business, an email, the 2004 Dave Matthews Band Chicago River incident. In astrology, the inception (or beginning) of something not only describes that thing, but it contains the seed of that thing’s destiny. This is the basic premise behind electional astrology, the art of choosing an auspicious time in the future to begin something in order to maximize your chances of a good outcome.

You can use electional astrology for just about anything, but here are some of the most common things people come to electional astrologers for:

• Weddings and engagements

• Business launches and incorporations

• Buying or selling a home

• Travel (timing trips, applying for a passport, etc.)

• Parties and special events

• Sending in applications (jobs, schools, visas, etc.)

• Publishing or posting something

• Signing contracts

Though most requests typically fall into one of these buckets, the possibilities are endless, and electional astrology is a very powerful tool to have at your side. If you’d like to find an inspired time to launch your new venture, optimize the outcome, and align yourself with (versus against) the current of time, an election is a sound investment. 

Note that elections cannot guarantee success or good outcomes — they can only move the odds in your favor within the constraints of what timing and fate can allow. Sometimes it really is about finding a rare auspicious moment to tie your fate to. Sometimes, it’s a matter of finding the least problematic window of time within a stretch of troubled weather. Either way, you’re making the most of what kairos can allow.

The main two options to choose from below are the simple and complex election, but everyone’s situation is unique, which is why some elections might require custom pricing.
